{"id":10479,"date":"2022-08-19T23:48:46","date_gmt":"2022-08-19T16:48:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/development.bwfbadminton.com\/?p=10479"},"modified":"2022-08-20T00:01:33","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T17:01:33","slug":"international-youth-day-more-opportunities-for-youngsters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/development.bwfbadminton.com\/es\/whats-new\/international-youth-day-more-opportunities-for-youngsters","title":{"rendered":"International Youth Day: More opportunities for youngsters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In celebration of the International Youth Day this month, here is the update on the BWF-WAoS Athlete Certificate Scholarship programme.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2020 and 2021 editions, BWF received more than 400 applications and 222 young athletes (121 male, 101 female) from 63 countries benefitted from the scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>BWF opened a new cycle on 1 June 2022 and received 117 online applications (71 male, 46 female) from 34 countries across five continents. Of those, 26 currently compete in BWF-sanctioned tournaments.
