They also came through unscathed in the semis \u2013 with the men and women winning 3-0 against Zambia and Algeria respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the final against Benin, the South African women\u2019s squad made up of Jabu Gininda,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfbadminton.com\/player\/75896\/cayleen-miller\/\" data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"75896\">Cayleen Miller<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfbadminton.com\/player\/73892\/diane-olivier\/\" data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"73892\">Diane Olivier<\/a>\u00a0dropped a game but won the match 3-1 (11-1 5-11 11-9 11-6).<\/p>\n<p>The men did not have the best of starts in theirs, losing a tight opener 13-12 to Nigeria before winning three consecutive games 11-6 13-11 12-10.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s captain\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfbadminton.com\/player\/63623\/cameron-coetzer\/\" data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"63623\">Cameron Coetzer<\/a>, whose team included\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfbadminton.com\/player\/70979\/reneshan-naidoo\/\" data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"70979\">Reneshan Naidoo<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfbadminton.com\/player\/78298\/miguel-vigario\/\" data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"78298\">Miguel Vigario<\/a>, said: \u201cWe really enjoyed AirBadminton this week. It\u2019s fun, exciting, competitive and just awesome! We are thrilled to represent the whole of Africa at the World Beach Games.\u201d[vc_single_image image=&#8221;11311&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]The event, which marks the completion of the qualifying process, was part of the 2nd African Beach Games, meaning players from both teams left Tunisia with gold medals around their necks.<\/p>\n<p>South Africa will be joined by earlier qualifiers Brazil (Pan Am), Netherlands and France (Europe) and Hong Kong China at the World Beach Games in Bali.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia as hosts and China, Korea, Malaysia, Germany and Denmark had qualified based on the World Team Rankings.
