A three-day Tutors Course and a two-day Teachers Course targeting PE teachers attracted 34 participants. Fourteen participants were certified BWF Shuttle Time Tutors and Teachers.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8286,8287,8288,8289,8291&#8243;][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Asia&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1613456345101-367408b3-48ad&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Sri Lanka <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sri Lanka Badminton Association launched a new National Player structure, introducing allowances to support players\u2019 economic conditions and a nutrition programme for their elite squads.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8292,8293,8294,8295&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Tajikistan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dushanbe Open Republican Badminton Tournament saw 98 athletes (across three age groups), 14 coaches and 20 judges from five regions of Tajikistan take part.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8296,8297,8298,8299&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>UAE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dubai\u2019s oldest sports club Al Nasr launched its women\u2019s badminton team, marking the first time a national club adopting badminton as a priority sport. Twenty-six women joined the programme to be trained by certified coaches for national and international tournaments.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8300,8301,8302,8303,8304&#8243;][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Europe&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1613456368164-707d5a9d-6fe6&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Kosovo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Badminton Federation of Kosovo organised a camp to promote AirBadminton to club players. A separate event to promote badminton was also held at Don Bosko College. It drew 70 participants, including from seven elementary schools in the Municipality of Gjilan.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8305,8306,8307,8308,8309&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Slovakia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Slovakia Badminton Association delivered two coach education seminars and educated more than 30 local coaches. Both seminars are delivered by\u00a0<span lang=\"SK\">Judith Meulendijks, an Olympian from Netherlands and currently a coach in Switzerland.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8370,8365,8366,8367,8368,8369,8371,8372,8373&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Serbia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From October to December, Serbia Badminton Association maintained the elite national training programme for 20 players of various age groups.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8310,8312,8315,8313,8314&#8243;][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Oceania&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1613456381268-50c3da87-4e9d&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Fiji<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fiji Nationals and Junior Nationals brought together a whopping 118 players across 21 events.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8316,8317,8318,8319,8320&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Cook Islands<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tutors delivered Shuttle Time lessons to primary schools around the island for four weeks. The top players then competed in the 4th Annual Primary Schools Tournament. In addition, two tutors travelled to the Island of Atiu to deliver Shuttle Time lessons and a Teachers Course. It was the first exposure to badminton for the 97 students of the island\u2019s only school.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8321,8322,8323,8324,8325,8326,8327,8328&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Tahiti<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three camps were held \u2013 for beginners (9 to 17 years old), multisport camp for kids aged 6 to 17 and a three-week high performance training camp for elite players. The second camp drew 20 kids, with 12 trying badminton for the first time.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8329,8330,8331,8332&#8243;][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Pan Am&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1613456398568-7575cfc8-a334&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Aruba<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aruba Badminton Federation delivered badminton sessions to all classes of the Maria College Mavo Secondary School. Racket skills, agility movement and rules of the game were taught to students.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;8346,8347,8348,8349,8350&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Suriname<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Suriname Badminton Association organised an AirBadminton launch event to encourage public to experience the new outdoor game. It included a Mini Team competition on two beach sand courts and a tryout session on three grass courts.
