[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Badminton World Federation (BWF) and World Academy of Sport<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span> (WAoS) have extended the deadline for application for the Postgraduate Certificate in International Sports Management<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Following the first application process that originally ended on\u00a012 December 2021<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>, BWF and WAoS have extended the application process to encourage more dual-career athletes and Member Association staff to apply.<\/p>\n

[vc_single_image image=”9392″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”https:\/\/istudy.sport\/pgcert”][vc_column_text]The programme provides unique opportunities for dual-career athletes who have chosen to pursue their education without giving up their elite sporting life. It also offers talent already employed within the badminton family the chance to learn new skills.<\/p>\n

For the last intake, BWF received more than 24 applications from over 17 countries and a total of five candidates started the programme in September 2021.<\/p>\n

Now, BWF has a total of 16 candidates now enrolled in the programme. (link<\/a><\/em><\/strong>)<\/p>\n

For the February 2022 cycle, BWF and WAoS are once again offering similar opportunities, with one fully funded scholarship, and ten 25 per cent scholarships.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0course<\/a>\u00a0is 100 per cent online and can be completed over a period of up to five years, recognising that athletes and industry professionals require varying levels of learning at different stages in their careers as many have limited time available.<\/p>\n
