BWF Para Badminton Research Project in 2020!

The BWF is pleased to announce two research projects to further support the work of people working in para badminton:

  1. BWF Para Badminton Wheelchair Players Research 
  2. BWF Para Badminton Athlete Wellbeing Research

The BWF wishes to conduct a research project for Wheelchair 1 & Wheelchair 2 athletes prior to the Fazza Dubai Para Badminton International 2020. The research will assist in the development of a new on-court fitness test for wheelchair athletes, which will be used by Para badminton coaches globally.  

The research will be conducted by Massey University, New Zealand and will be made available to all National Badminton Federations and National Paralympic Committees. Please find more information below:

The BWF wishes to conduct a research project for Para badminton athletes from All Sport Classes prior to and during the Fazza Dubai Para Badminton International 2020. The research aims to provide more information on the role of sports and psychosocial factors in defining wellbeing of Para badminton players.

The research will be conducted by the University of Malaya, Malaysia and the results will be made available to all National Badminton Federations and National Paralympic Committees. Please find more information below:
