CONTINENTAL QUALIFICATION COMPETITIONS

Qualification competitions shall be organised in each of the five continents by 30 June 2023.  In the event of a competition not held in a particular continent, before 30 June 2023, the best ranked country on the BWF World Team Ranking on 4 April 2023 shall automatically qualify for the games.

AFRICA

AirBadminton will also feature at the African Beach Games 2023, building on the popularity of the sport The multi-sport event for beach and water sports, is open to the 54 National Olympic Committees in Africa, and will be held in Hammamet, Tunisia, from 24 to 30 June 2023.  The Games will act as the qualifying event of the African region for the ANOC World Beach Games 2023.

South Africa crowned both Men’s and Women’s Triples events.

ASIA

The Asian Qualification Competition will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 23 to 25 June 2023.

Hong Kong China crowned both Men’s and Women’s Triples events.

EUROPE

The European Qualification Competition will be held in Werkendam, Netherlands, from 9 to 11 June 2023.

France crowned Women’s Triples events and Netherlands crowned the Men’s Triples events.

OCEANIA

No Continental Qualification tournament will be held for the Oceania region.  As per the Qualification system, in such a case, the best ranked country on the BWF World Team Ranking (4 July 2023), shall qualify for the games.

PAN AM

The Continental Qualification Competition for the Pan America region will be held in Kingston, Jamaica, on 29 and 30 April 2023, alongside the Pan America Individual Championships in Jamaica.
