Instructions

Before you start your application, please read the following steps carefully, which will assist you in preparing the information and documents you will need and answering the questions you will be asked in the process.

Please note that only applications received through these official channels will be reviewed. Applications will not be accepted by email, nor will any follow-up be provided.

  • Every field has clear written instructions for filling up the particular section which should be strictly followed by the applicants while filling up the form.
  • Once the form is completed, you can submit your application by clicking the “Submit” button.
  • Your Application will be automatically sent to the BWF Education Team.
  • You will received an email request to submit your supporting documents.
  • Please fill in the application form in ENGLISH

Who can apply for the BWF FastTrack Course?

Current or former international players who have participated in BWF sanctioned tournaments and who are currently coaching or planning to become coaches

Applicants will receive an email request to submit the following supporting documents:

  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Cover Letter (optional)
  • Endorsement letter from your National Badminton Federation

It is your responsibility to provide all supporting documents. Applications where information or documentation is incomplete may not be considered.

  • When can I apply for the BWF FastTrack Course?

The BWF FastTrack Course application process will open on 15 December 2025 and close on 20 January 2026. Applicants are encouraged to read the eligibility criteria above before applying.

  • How can I submit my application?

Applications must be submitted using the below online form. The online application allows you to submit your complete application securely and quickly.

Applicants are encouraged to commence and submit their application as early as possible during the application period due to the large volume of users on the system in the lead up to the closing date. Submitting early ensures that you will not have any last-minute technical problems due to the large number of applications being submitted.

  • How can I be sure my application has been submitted? 

Once you have completed your application and clicked on the “Submit” button, you will be directed to a “Thank you” page. You may download/print a copy of your application by clicking on the “Print or get PDF of answers”. We strongly advise for you to keep a copy of the application form for your records.

  • When will I know if my application is successful?

The BWF Coach Education Programme attracts a large number of applications from all over the world. We will review the applications in conjunction with our Continental Confederations to ensure a strong mix of candidates with geographical and gender balance. At the end of this process, only applicants that are successful will be notified of their acceptance and issued an invitation letter, as of 1st March 2026.

  • If my application has been unsuccessful, will I be notified as to why?

Due to the high volume of applications, we are not able to provide feedback to unsuccessful applicants.

  • Should I submit additional documents not listed in the supporting documents of the applicant guidelines?

No. Applicants should not include additional documents which are not listed in the supporting documents table, as they will not be taken into consideration.

To ensure a fair and equitable assessment, applications are only assessed on the required documents listed in the Supporting Documents section.

  • What costs will be covered by BWF?
    • The course fees will be covered by BWF.
    • Lunches and coffee breaks on course days will be provided by BWF.
    • BWF will offer selected candidates a travel grant to help offset the cost of air travel to Dubai.

Accommodation and other travel costs are not covered by BWF. These will need to be covered by the CC, MA, or participant.

We collect personal information about candidates for the purpose of administering the BWF Coach Education programme. Your contact information will be used to contact you in relation to your application. Your application will also be shared with your Continental Confederation as part of the selection process.
