The Badminton World Federation (BWF) would like to thank all partners involved in the design, development, testing, creation, branding, and roll out the AirShuttle and AirBadminton game.
It has been a long process from concept to inception but we are truly indebted to the services, expertise and support offered by those within our badminton family.
A big thank you to our Global Development Partner, HSBC, for their ongoing support of our sport.
We very much look forward to working with HSBC to establish a legacy for this project as part of our combined efforts to promote inclusivity and accessibility around the sport.
Also, a big thank you to our global launch hosts, Guangzhou Sports Bureau and the Chinese Badminton Association.
The development of the AirShuttle and AirBadminton game would not be possible without our principal design partner, Institute for Sports Research (ISR) – Nanyang Technological University (NTU), with whom we spent five years crafting and shaping the AirShuttle.
There’s also a number of parties who provided their services and facilities for crucial testing during the piloting phase:
- University of Alicante
- Tecnología Deportiva
- Vizius Sports
- Universiti of Malaya
This extends to the collection of current and former players who have helped us test the AirShuttle.
The exercise in developing the brand and promoting AirBadminton has been just as important.
We’d like to acknowledge the creative direction from our media and commercial partner, Infront Sports & Media, our brand consultants at teamup, and all contributors involved in the filming of our AirBadminton videos.
Thank you once again for being part of the AirBadminton journey.
