Developing Leaders

Overview

The Developing Leaders Programme is designed for individuals showing leadership promise in the badminton industry. It features two distance learning modules, Introduction to Sports Management, exploring global sport management principles, and Managing Sport Development, providing an introduction to the theory and practical application of the management of sport development. Participants engage in a Q&A session with BWF senior leadership, discussing contemporary challenges and gaining insights. Global executive workshops enhance the programme, fostering collaboration and networking within the international badminton community, in line with Continental Confederation needs. This holistic approach equips potential leaders with a foundational understanding of international sports management and sport development, encourages dialogue with seasoned leaders, and establishes international connections, laying a solid groundwork for their badminton leadership journey.
